2024-08-05 17:16:21 +0000 UTCI can’t be sure but I imagine “The” Bendu is an homage to “The”Doctor. Love Tom Baker. Totally agree that this Maul is different- I just end up accepting sometimes that with a franchise this huge, we’re not always going to know where the character will go. George Lucas really wanted to bring Maul back by the time they did Clone Wars if I’m not mistaken. It seems like maybe he had instincts to create this Maul, but Phantom Menace as it was didn’t really need Maul to villain monologue, so we get this split. Ultimately I think it’s fun that both Ray Park and Sam Witwer are well known for the role.
