The Acolyte S1E07 Watch A Long

Hey Peaches! We saw the events on Brendok from one perspective, so why not a second? The show has been building to us finding out what the Jedi did 16 years ago.....and, well..... Jay and I do get into at the end as to who was in the wrong.

I'm with jay on this one, just leave the coven alone. if the jedi say they have a law where they get to train force sensitive children (sure with permission) they should visit just to say hi and mention they're recruiting. They were all a family, and those mothers loved the girls, idk what they would've been if they grew up to lead the coven but I know for sure the jedi did Not have to be involved, they did not have to break into their place, Torbin did Not have to fly off like that, and sol did not have to tag along.

My new favourite Jay is Space-ACAB Jay, hahaha

I keep thinking I want someone to tell me why we could not have told this story in chronological order. I think an episode one as a combo of 3/7 with a bit of coruscant Jedis would have been a better way to start.

I was certainly Adam all throughout this episode, if they just would've talked and stated what they were intending, 99% of the events of this Episode / Episode 3 could've been completely avoided. I didn't want to key in to it but the writing here, is just.. really something. I also agree with Jay, if the Jedi just left them alone, it could've been avoided as a whole. Also, am I missing where Qimir even fits in to all of this? He made it seem personal to want to kill the 4 Jedi, but had NOTHING to do with this at all. A cool Sith character don't get me wrong, good fighting style and what not, but story wise where does he fit in? Is he just another throwaway plot point? I hope not. But after watching the last 7 episodes of this series I'm really thinking he is.

You guys still hung up on the space fire. There are substances that can burn in the absence of oxygen. And we are talking about Star Wars where you hear explosions in the vaccum of space.

She was turning into that form and pulling the power from mae to go save osha as well, because Mae was bound to the coven they were connected. :)

And I think they came there BECAUSE of the vergence not caused it... :)

FalcorDragon

It was an electrical fire combined with an old mine which I'm assuming had a lot of trapped gasses

Pay close attention to the differences... plus Mae misquoted her mother.... that's not what she said but in Sol's mind it is they are going to sacrifice them or something... if you watch the two episodes back to back it's really interesting :)

FalcorDragon

I actually found this fascinating, I loved the subtle differences. The way their mother was more agressive in the first time Sol saw her... showing how he saw them being more violent and threatening than when it was from Osha's POV , there were a lot of little changes that made it show how Sol justified his actions, etc...

FalcorDragon

i think we need a star wars pallet cleanser with some rebels after this inadequate show

turns out it was a Waco situation all along, everyone is wrong. Cool show.......cool.
