Saw a comment that the little claw dip into the water was their goodbye to Corlys and sure it’s a stretch but it did make me tear up

2024-07-09 01:45:36 +0000 UTCI didn't read the book, but from my understanding the whole point of it is to be as unclear as possible in terms of what actually happened. I am liking the show a lot, but I feel like they leaned so far into the Greens being the ones in the wrong that it's going to be hard to come back from that and make it truly more of a gray area on both sides. The prince's murder in episode 1 was horrific, but it was solidly on Daemon's shoulders. Aside from Helaena Targaryen, it seems like all of the Greens are varying levels of being an asshole in basically any scene they're in. It feels like the Blacks are going to have to do some truly horrible things if there's meant to be any kind of balance between the two sides.
