House of the Dragon S2E03 Watch A Long

Hey Peaches! War is coming. Everyone knows it. And it seems that only two women want to try to stop it. Can Team Black circle the wagons and head off disaster? Or will it be too late for the seven kingdoms?

the final scene is also a scene I miss in almost every Drama. like only those guys would get together and talk it over, because the whole damn thing is a simple misunderstanding blown out of proportions. Here they just did, Alicent now knows that she f'ed up, and to keep it to herself and not do anything about it, is now a conscious choice.

I think Rhaenyra has been acting under a sense of caution for a while now, partially because of this struggle with knowing that maybe there was a small chance that her father did randomly change his mind about her being his successor. But, now that Alicent confirmed that his mind never waivered and that she knows the truth and is going to ignore it, now Rhaenyra can be a little more ruthless and start getting bloody clack-clack dragon style.

The showrunners did confirm in interviews that, yes, those are Daenerys' eggs that Rhaenyra sends with Rhaena to Pentos (Daenerys' 3 and 1 other). If you look back you can see one is dark red (Drogon), Gold (Viserion), Green (Rhaegal) and Silver (Possibly/Probably Rhaena's future dragon as she still doesn't have one?).

The council was already planning on putting Aegon on the throne, so I don't really think Alicent's misunderstanding really mattered in the grand scheme of things. I think it was more-so about Alicent sleeping with Criston Cole, who is also speculated to have sent away guards during Blood & Cheese (so nobody could catch them in the act)

Is Daemon going to end up being the king of the White Walkers guy from the end of GOT?!?

Saw a comment from someone else that I potentially agree with — maybe Helaena’s “I forgive you” was related to the dragon dreaming, coming ahead of Alicent’s guilt that she’s going to feel since finding out Viserys changing his mind was actually a misunderstanding
