Also thank you for your patience for this BTS as we recorded all of What If...? and focused on starting to get that out this week.
The months ahead are going to be chock full of fun stuff, with Echo, finishing up What If...?, Rebels if coming back, Celebrity Jeopardy, and a few surprises as well.

2024-01-07 21:35:39 +0000 UTC1. That pun in/around 12:10 is terrible, it did 2d4 psychic damage to everyone watching 2. Jay’s mentioned his distaste for the lack of creativity out of Pokémon before and while I disagree that the core games are generally not great, I heartily agree they could and should do a lot more with the IP. Gimme a game where you have to build a new League & Elite Four in a region that never had one before, give me a noir investigative drama figuring out Team Rocket’s next plan, give me a prequel where you get to develop the first Apricon-based PokéBalls. So many great ways to deepen the lore for those of us who’ve played since Gen I and want more than the formulaic stuff they’ve put out.
