2023-11-11 10:18:50 +0000 UTCIshamael (one of the forsaken) wants to break the wheel so that people don't have to keep reliving the same lives, going through the same struggles, over and over again. And philosophically, I get it...imagine being someone destined to just suffer horribly every turn of the wheel, because that's their 'task' each time around and it's important to the weave in some way. You'd probably want to break the wheel, because without the wheel, there's theoretically freedom to make whatever you want of your life, and there's a finality to death. So it's not necessarily a desire to rule the world. Some people and forsaken are in it for the power, some for other selfish reasons, and there's people like Ishy who just want to have the freedom to end it all for good.
