Thank you for your gentle persistence to get us to watch this show. It was a lot of fun. We'll definitely be on top of season 2 when it arrives. Probably sometime in 2024.

I enjoyed the show for what it was, and thought it was really fun, but I didn't find any of the plot to be particularly mysterious. Unless Netflix decided to radically change the tone—like you guys pointed out with the Sabrina series—we knew from the beginning that Gomez wasn't a cold-blooded murderer, we knew he would do anything for Morticia (including taking the fall), and we knew you don't cast Christina Ricci if you're not going to give her anything to do. Plus, the monster really could've only been who it was in terms of making sense plot-wise after they blew their load too early by revealing it wasn't Xavier before the halfway point of the season—like you guys called out. It kind of feels like one of the shows I would've liked to have gone into completely blind, but the enjoyment I got out of watching it was also from already being familiar with the Addams Family.

In Romeo and Juliette the potion the monk used is believed to be Belladonna which is a nightshade plant. Meaning if the dosage is right it would look like death. And given Weems's size, they could suggest the dosage in the vial wasn't enough to kill her.

Barely even a 'friendship' vibe if at all. It just felt off to me their scenes. The only scenes that felt good to me were when he was angry at Wednesday. The IRL stuff I don't even want to comment on but if it's true he needs to be gone

2023-01-29 17:17:05 +0000 UTCYeah, sadly, Percy Hynes White seems to have done some creepy stuff when he was just a little younger. I am actually sad about it, as I found his character interesting, outside of any romance they might have tried to make a thing. While there are not official charges yet, I wouldn't feel comfortable seeing him back on Wednesday again if we don't hear a very good explanation / denial that is believable.
