Which is all well and good, but it turns that this particular training will come in handy at a very crucial moment that we didn't see coming.

Dave Filoni's been on record as saying "It's ironic, Anakin taught her to fight much larger opponents than her; someone exactly like Darth Vader." Here, we see that while his training was unusual, Anakin had no idea that he was going to be saving her from the horrors his turn to the dark side instigated. What a story!

2022-10-31 17:51:09 +0000 UTCThis one caught me off guard and I was tearing up at the end. Truly incredible story telling (as is the whole series!). I agree with others on youtube: Jay, you NEED to see the last four episodes of the Clone Wars. I would argue that episodes 7x9-12 and 6x1-4 (Fives' arc) are essential viewing for fans and are some of the best Star Wars out there. Much like the Dooku arc, they add so much to the prequels and make you care. Doesn't need to be a reaction but we certainly wouldn't say no to watching it with you guys!
