Luke was giving him the choice like Yoda gave him... Luke gave into his attachments for a while, and it was the right choice for saving his friends, but he paid a price for it as well... Grogu might do the same but might very well go back to his training after whatever happens with Mando happens. :)

2022-02-04 06:00:16 +0000 UTCWith Grogu having so much training at the Temple and Luke saying that he's basically reminding him of what he already knows, it's the perfect set-up for him to choose the beskar chain-mail and go with Din as a force-user like Asoka. Plus the hot-rod already has a Grogu-sized dome on it, that can't go to waste! :D

2022-02-03 20:39:53 +0000 UTCUnless they do create a way to choose both, i think this is the writers firmly saying that the Jedi weren't actually wrong about attachment being dangerous. The big reason i haven't really bought the fantheories about this is that Anakin for instance would probably have fallen even if his relationships (his mother and padme specifically) were allowed by the Jedi.

Vader said unironically said it ironically which made it a meme. We dont give cringe credit. So credit goes to Vader. "I"M BRINGING IT BACK!" Plus I mean... Vader is Anakin (spoiler alert for anyone living under a fucking rock) so Vader saying Wizard is quite literally Anakin using the same term they all likely used. Which if you think about it... Vader's life likely just flashed before his eyes in that moment and his first thought was his buddy on Tattoine saying wizard? Thats wholesome af!

2022-02-03 09:09:46 +0000 UTCOMG real life cad bane is A-maze-ing and it's great watching your reactions to it lol Grogu has to take the armor, he gets back with mando says "i gave up a lightsaber to be here, bro" mando is all "no worries, looky looky what I got!" and gives grogu the darksaber. After they complete their wash in the river quest or whatever it is to be back in The Way. Grogu then trains with the Mandolorian Armorer in how to use the darksaber. Combining her training with lukes training to become something new and then getting his own show! TLDR: what if grogu....uh...KICKED ASSSS!!! (flexes)

I mean you could say that he didn't get his training because of that choice since Yoda died but its not like Yoda died BECAUSE Luke chose attachment. Yoda was just old.

2022-02-03 00:43:03 +0000 UTCThis episode was the nuts!! Amazing! I think Luke kinda made me feel like he was being a bit of a douche forcing the choice 🙈. I think Grogu choosing the armor is the choice here because he already as some training with the force and knows he has power. Later on i think he can always learn to enhance his abilities with the force plus as its been mentioned that he and Mando have a strong bond so theres also more to that it think than just the armor. This is going to be amazing on how they write it to when they eventually get there to where Grogu is both Mandelorian and Jedi which is the endgame in time i feel.❤
