Also, we totally didn't see the title of the episode where it clearly states that it's the second part of the story....either way, this episode is bananaboats. We get teamwork AND friendship, with awesome battle music, topped off with some glorious meta D&D humor. This episode is an omen of great things to come.

just gotta say, as a D&D player I don't agree with the "Heat Metal" being a useless spell take. It is a super strong spell whenever you have to fight humanoids or anyone wearing armor

2022-01-30 23:47:28 +0000 UTCI think all the weird insults the characters throw out... like skanky goat groper, were the random comments the cast shouted at Matt Mercer (the DM) right before they go live during the countdown to throw him off right as he starts the show. In the live shows you often would see Matt doing his best to hold it together while the cast are all laughing in the background.

He's the guard that Scanlan pisses on in episode one and the merchant Grog steals the barrel of ale from. And smallest of spoilers: He's in Episode 3. It looks like he's our Stan Lee for this season. Thought you might like to keep an eye for it. Love the emotional reactions by the way!
