We didn't exactly know what to expect with this show, but we were blown away. The acting, the characters, the secrets, but most importantly, the comedy. Wow this is funny. But also.....BUT ALSO, THE NEWEST BEST CHARACTER OF ALL TIME......Eagly the Eagle. He is the best boy, and if anything untoward happens to him we're going to war. This is a surprisingly good first episode and we can't wait to watch the next one.

Did anyone else notice they were playing a slow, instrumental-only version of The Offspring's "The Kids Aren't Alright" when Peacemaker breaks into his house? Having just finished the series, it really tells Peacemaker's entire backstory. James Gunn's musical storytelling is just incredible.

I usually hate time code match up stuff, but this was worth it. Thankfully I synced it up to within like 1/10th of a second. The reaction to Adrians chat with his co-worker in the alley, amazing. Probably going to binge all 4 of these now..... also, someone in the comments might have told you by now, but in case someone hasnt, its 8 episodes, not 9.

2022-01-16 20:44:56 +0000 UTCI'm gonna be honest and admit that i struggled with the show so far... feels like Family Guy where they let jokes run on too long and ruin them and it took me out of a lot of scenes. i also felt it was a little too manic in places as well.

Secondly this show is pretty crazy good, for a 1st episode to give you backstory, action, humor, new storyline and new character introductions all in 45mins was superb. By the way Jay the Rock is funny also, his funniest role to me was "Central Intelligence" and that is a classic to me as well as that small role he had in "The Other Guys" was classic. I think John Cena however does fit this role better as the goofy version of a hero that Dwayne most likely needs a certain comic relief along side of him to feed off as well as a good writer to give those silly quips. I still prefer the Rock but Cena is coming around now for me ❤💯

Only Cena has the fearless humility and acting chops to pull off such a sad clown of a character. I've seen him in several comedies now and he's always a standout.

I was laughing with you guys and we were having fun and then Jay said “John cena is better than the rock “ and I pressed pause and lost my shit 😂😂😂 but I took a deep breathe and said to myself “Sean it’s ok you love jay and his opinion no matter how insane they are “ and I was Back and then some crazy raptor lady from the 80s EXPLODED!!!!
