The Book of Boba Fett S1E03 Watch Along

While this not so motley crew joins team Boba, our new crime lord gets paid a very nasty visit by an old friend. Meanwhile, in the past, the biker gang takes their revenge on the Tusken Raiders...... Oh, and we get a Chekhov's baby Rancor, and his best friend Danny Trejo! A lot of good things in this episode, and maybe a couple of ok things as well. But either way, can't wait to see where all the things introduced in this episode go.

I've heard people complain about the "slow" bike chase in this episode (Looking at you pitch meeting :P ) but not sure how they make it faster while inside town in those twisty street turns... Add to the fact that they had them drive through that giant hutt painting :D Their version of the stereotypical pane of glass :) even if they were going "faster" they would still probably have done the same things (cutting the lines and such) but the background going past faster you'd just miss some of the cool background stuff. *Grin*

2022-09-22 04:09:26 +0000 UTCBy the way I don’t know if you got the reference but the kids on the bikes is an obvious reference to a cultural movement called “the Mods” from England in I think the fifty’s or sixty’s they had outfits very similar to the ones the young guys are whearing and often drove brightly colored Vespa scooters often times with lots of mirrors on them just like these guys. The Who’s music album quadraphenia and movie is about them which is the only reason I’m familiar with them. In universe I wouldn’t be surprised if the speeders were imported from somewhere like Naboo and they spend a lot of time waxing and polishing them

2022-01-13 09:28:31 +0000 UTCI think some Tuskens survived. Also there's a lot of tribes out there. We definitely haven't seen the last of them imo. A lot of people are hating on the power ranger vespa gang, but I think the point is that not every person on Tatooine is a moisture farmer or a sketchy criminal type. Most Espa is a port city so tech from off-world is easier to get there and those"urchins" could either be transplants or just wishing they were from somewhere else cooler.

I don't think we saw bodies for the Tusken warrior and the child (though he did burn the small stick) so I'm holding out for them to still be alive. The cyborg-mods didn't feel like they fit Tattoine, could be offworlders I suppose. I feel like they would have more dust on those fancily-painted spooters. Maybe they stole the water from Milton to wash them? I did like when they showed up to save Boba when he was getting that wookie CRAAWWNCH We better see Boba on that Rancor by the finale. There's no way we don't see Black Krrsantan come back by the end of this. Maybe he'll feel like he owes Boba some type of "debt" I am a little disappointed that we probably won't get to see an army of Tuskens on speeders come to save Boba like Gandalf on the first light of the fifth day when you look to the east at dawn while chillin in Helms Deep... Also Jay, give Solo a shot. I'm a diehard EU guy who doesn't acknowledge the prequels but I thought Solo was actually alright when I finally watched it last year.
