The longer it takes for you to say, “Welcome to Another Story Worth Telling,” and then the longer it takes from that to when the episode actually starts is directly linked to how much I laugh in my day. Thank you, boys for another fantastic series finale! ❤️❤️

Well acted finale nontheless(Very dramatic as I expected). Haha The Dragons Den comment 😆(Btw in Denmark it's called Lion's Den; Løvens Hule, and in America Shark Tank)

Learning more everyday in everyway, omg what a time to be alive! Romping royals, dark deceptions, extreme end games, dagger to the heart, actions have consequences, good performances, thank you

something that i really loved about this ep is that his death was so rushed and anticlimactic. because it WAS irl! he saw himself as a god, and in the end he was just a man like any other

Like Alex, I did spoil it a bit by knowing George's fate, but it still didn't take away any of the suspense. We'll never know if James really met his end in that way (unlike George V who was murdered), but based only on this show, it certainly wasn't below George to have done it! This was a great series. I loved every second of it.

I loved reading this! I’m not raising a family but I absolutely agree with your sentiment. I’ve always been an Ally (didn’t know that’s what it was called at the time), When I started following ASWT a little over a year ago instead of Gay Panic I went through a sort of Ally Panic. After listening to Alex and Josh’s conversations, I felt like I needed to up my Ally Game but didn’t know how. I tortured poor Josh with questions. He couldn’t have been more kind and helpful. He talked me through my Panic and I’m a much stronger Ally!

I also wanted to say how much I appreciated re-watching this show with you guys, and really all your content. I love how I'm discovering so much content I enjoy through what you react to. I'm not part of the LGBTQ+ community per se, but I am a strong ally. I'm learning so much with you two, and in the comments sections as well. I'm raising twin girls who recently turned 8, and they already know so much about this, and how accepting my husband and I are, and how accepting we expect them to be toward themselves and others, and all about love is love (we'll wait until they're older for the 'bodies are bodies' talk lol). They don't understand much English yet (we're in Quebec) and they're still quite young, but they know who you are! I'm also putting together a list of movies and series I want to watch with them when they're older, and while it's not all queer content, a lot are from here. So anyway, love you guys, keep up your wonderful work!

I simply adore this show, and the performances (especially Nick's). The ending is hard, but so was life in those times... And we can't forget we aren't watching a documentary, but historical fiction. I like that the show is based on real history and people, but it's only that - based on it. So for me, the liberties taken throughout the show and the ending are perfect and make for great entertainment. At least from what I read, they got George's death accurately. I especially gasped at Mary's reaction to George's death news, but after rewatching, it makes total sense. Since the beginning, she knew what she was signing up George for, and the risks involved, so she basically exchanged her son's life for her comfortable life... In a lighter note, am I the only one who got a flash of Bottoms when George and Charles come back from Spain (George saying 'It is so good to see you' reminded me of when Isabel confronts Jeff in the cafeteria in Bottoms and he tries to change the subject by telling her she's beautiful) lol.

I really believe that the last romantic scene between George and James was not about love, but a desperate attempt to regain the King’s favor after a humiliating failure. Isolating him, giving him sex, alcohol and the outdoors, that’s just George throwing all of his weapons in the ring, because he can’t outwit his mother. The series is based upon a book that posits George killed the King, so it was bound to be biased in that way.

Not particularly happy about how this series ended even though it was for the most part historically accurate. There is a long thread in US media representation of gay and lesbian characters, fictional or not, that in the end depicts them living terrible lives that more often than not results in them dying by suicide or violence. Much of this can be traced back to the 1930s era Hays Code. The 1961 movie The Children's Hour is a very good example of this. It was a non to subtly subversive message that was meant to reinforce that those characters got "their just rewards" for living outside the norms of moral standing. I would have preferred M and G to end in a less overt repackaging of the historically negative themes

That was quite a Finale! Great Reaction! Maybe I was seeing things but I thought I saw a tear flow down George’s left cheek just before he gave James the drink. Then he wiped a tear a few minutes later as well. Love the outfits! Josh you looked great in the Gold Crown! Alex, your Crown reminded me of the Statue of Liberty’s Crown but with lots of pretty Bling! Ooh yes, the earring was great too! Thanks Guys

Diane Furlong

My treat for tomorrow, thank you, your the best and the best people know it x

This show is absolutely incredible. Nick, Julie and Tony really deserve all the awards for these portrayals. Seeing nick in this much darker role was so amazing. He is so talented.

rachael

Oooh, looking absolutely fantastic! The crowns suit you 👌 Too bad the show is over but what a ride it's been 😁

Werlock Holmes

It couldn’t have ended any differently. The show or the reaction.😏😎

Hurrah!! Thanks Alex and Josh 😘 It's been a pleasure to watch the show with you. The last episodes aren't even out yet where I live, so...how lucky am I? 😍 It's late, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow... Oh, wait! There's a live!! See you! ❤️

there was a lot of speculation at the time surrounding george being responsible for james’ death and poisoning him but it isnt true, george verifiably wasn’t in england when james died and he reportedly wept for days straight and had to be comforted by charles when he heard the news - this is easily my favourite role of nick’s to date he was absolutely incredible in this show as was tony and julianne!! ❤️

Olivia

Oh Boy, I hope you fellas were ready for this. I’ll be back to watch after dinner. Thanks Alex and Josh
