James's speech to George about love being liquid was so good, I enjoyed it so much! I quite like the James in this show. Or maybe it's just Tony. I enjoy his and Nick's chemistry. I talk to myself A LOT Particularly when I'm having anxiety. I talk myself "off the ledge" (so to speak) a lot. Or when I'm having a bad CP day and none of my muscles want to cooperate and do anything I'm telling them to do. I hype myself up a bit, I'm always like "Okay. it's okay, we can do this, we got it" etc lol. It's silly but it helps sometimes. :)

You are right. The Villiers are terrible people. Sandie did not deserve this. What makes it worse is that Bacon did it with George's permission. George knew how Mary felt and he still did it. He is definitely not the young love struck boy, scared of going to France and craving for his mother's approval in Episode 1. Love the long hair though. It adds to the progression of his character as a nobleman. Similar to the King's hair. The King is also seemingly losing his grip on reality. This show is so good!

I talk to myself (and answer) frequently. As Diane said, talking to yourself out loud helps. It gets more synapses in your brain firing. It becomes more multi-modal which engages more of your brain.

If Nicholas can make having sex with Somerset while recovering from Small Pox sexy, he can make any look sexy! This whole situation was bound to backfire at some point. You can't be corrupt forever without facing the consequences (unless you're Trump). George went from a suicidal weakling to power hungry king fucker. It's been so much fun to watch! I did Google the lot to see how much is factual, so I know what to expect with next week's finale. It'll be interesting to see how it all goes down!!

Thanks, guys, great way to start my weekend! I think there was some homophobia in previous episodes; it just wasn't quite as blatant as Charles' comment. In the previous episode, Mary's husband made some disparaging remarks about George and even Mary's "lady-in-waiting". I think that Charles' homophobia stems directly from his father's treatment of his mother. Charles isn't a very likeable person anyway, and being a homophobe is just another reason to hate him, but hey, he gets what he deserves when he loses his head. 🤓

I do the same thing, Alex. I talk to myself all the time. I'm an only child and did not have a lot of friends growing up and my family wasn't really there for me, so, the best person to talk to was and is myself :). Long hair yay all the way :D

Personally, I always find Nick handsome, but I prefer him with short hair. However, what I like here is that it shows the passing of time, and most importantly, his rise in power and confidence. The series really shifts around with episode 5, but episodes 6 and 7 are intense! Love this show. Can't wait to watch this reaction later today!
