Hi! Hope everyone is having a good day! I've had a lot of requests to breakdown the texture painting and decal workflow I used in the gas station project, so here it is! I go through developing materials from scratch using image textures, and then blending them together using a couple different methods like stencils, image masks, etc. and then I go into the whole decal setup! I have a question. Why did you use displacement on these textures? What if you'd used bump? Would it help with optimization of a scene? Let's say this wall of the building is somewhere on a background, you'd still use displacement?
