(Note, it's fun using the pictures, but I really need to work on this captioning stuff. It just doesn't look like how I see them elsewhere. If anybody can ping me and give me tips to improve the aesthetic so I that Lizzy's contributions can be more readily appreciated and pleasing to the eye, I'd appreciate it.)

2022-12-24 20:26:55 +0000 UTCMaybe the font choices? Or the layout? Functionally, these are less captions than illustrated prose, except the illustrations are photographs. Get a high-Quality illustrated novel, see how it lays out the images, how it uses fonts. Maybe that's what you need to aim for, instead of treating it like a caption.
