2024-10-26 17:23:07 +0000 UTCSo last time i was reading manga was when season one was still ongoing, and my knowledge of their character development didn't really progressed beyond season 2 of anime. Based on that i didn't really see any meaningless backstory, like Yuji backstory till the end of s2 was 10min of first episode. Ichigo for me is definitely outstanding compared to "Big three" mc, but still could be far better, i wouldn't say necessary that's he's a good or bad written character, more on the neutral side. But my point still stands, Bad main character = Bad Writing, its not making a anime instantly "bad" but you are loosing quite a quality to it. Like look at any other series with amazing mc's characters: Death Note, Code Geass, Berserk, Hellsing, (some parts of Jojo) Vinland Saga. Having a good written MC is a major change in overall quality imo.

2024-10-23 14:36:43 +0000 UTCi agree mostly but Im not sure that you liking gojo and toji more than the main cast means its bad writing, thats more so your own preference, because id say the author has given yuji and megumi alot of depth and they have backstory so idk what you mean by that. i like them but they aren't the most interesting to me doesn't mean thats "bad writing". Ichigo definitely isnt the most interesting character in bleach that still doesn't mean that its bad yk?

2024-10-23 11:12:19 +0000 UTCI understand your gripes with "season 1" of bleach everyone feels the same way even bleach diehards fan, but honestly that was just anime back then unfortunately, if they ever did a reboot of "season 1" then it would be a lot better. You guys and a lot of new anime watchers post 2013 I'd say are just too spoiled with how anime is done in these season formats 😂. Also on another random note, the manga was more gory like it is in this anime, but back then they were soft asf about showing that stuff.

2024-10-23 10:16:49 +0000 UTCThats the main con on the list for me in the old vs new. i mean, even fillers and the slightly boring episodes are still building on the attachment to the characters, but in general, the sheer length of the storylines. Time spent = Added reward. Even the slightly more lengthier new ones i feel drawbacks from having to wrap up everything every 12-13 episodes to fit the seasons.... Feels forced alot of the time. At least imo. JJK Is written to become an anime of modern standard, hence the manga also takes those same rules into account. But atleast its not one of those serial produced sample image copies we see alot of today.

It's apparently a combination of "Yahweh" (Hebrew for God) and "Wach" (German for Awake). As a manga reader, I had to look the pronunciation up when the arc first came out lol. You guys are still in for so many priceless moments in the next several episodes, cant't wait to see them!

2024-10-23 05:09:15 +0000 UTCYhwach is pronounced "You-Ha-Bach-ha" or "u-ha ba-ha". Thanks for upload Episode 8 have a scene after the ending, important. Funny thing is, for me personally there is at least 3 better episodes in this season than ep 6, that's how amazing this shit is. I have far more fun with new Bleach than Jujutsu newest season for example, stuff that happened should be in season 3 or 4 i have nearly zero attachments to main characters, and they have nearly zero backstory, like Gojo and Toji are far more interesting side characters imo, that's bad writing, action is cool but that's it. With Bleach you have such a backstory, all new season's are just a pay off.
