Year in Review

Hey there everyone! I haven’t done a good old month start journal in a little bit. Let me start by saying thank you as always to everyone who has stuck around for the month roll over! BIG THANKS and appreciation to everyone who’s hung around from the beginning.

2021 like 2020 was a bit of a wild year. In February here in Texas where I live we had a crazy winter storm and I spent a few days with no water or power. My day job had lots of crazy little changes that demanded a lot more of my time. I did a few experimental style projects, and I definitely largely shifted focus to original characters over fan art. I had some cool interactions with other creators, including some slight collaborations with some internet models with the Mooters concept.

Creatively it was a very fulfilling year, though I may not have produced quite as much as I wanted. I was happy with what I did put out though. I hope you’ve enjoyed it as well!

As an artist I’ve always been a bit sentimental and also slow so it leads to revisiting old ideas or finishing old works in progress that may have seemed abandoned. I don’t see that changing. I still want to do more Scaredy Cat, more FitBots, Bebe, and just about every other character I’ve ever dreamt up. For this month I know I’ll be wrapping up Matadora as the Beer Snob and I’d like to do some Jiggle Belle content of course. That aside no major plans, but as ideas strike or I get a jolt of inspiration or seek out ideas from you all nothing is off the table.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a good year and I hope you enjoy what comes up this month and in the future.

Final quick note: Anyone interested in the annual membership thing? It’s recently an option but I wasn’t sure if anyone would be interested in that option. Let me know!
