I’m here to talk about the future of Corruption Time.

Well, as you know, this game is my main project, and it's where my Patreon started to take off.

This was also my second game that I ever made and released, and as you can see, today the game is a bit nonsensical and full of bugs. After all, I’m still just a beginner in programming.

However, in the past few months, I’ve started studying more about Ren'Py (the engine I use to make the games), as well as animation and drawing, to improve the projects. After all, you deserve the best I can deliver.

And today, I’ve come to a conclusion: I will be rewriting all of Corruption Time. It will be like starting a new project from scratch. Today, I already have a good understanding of how to create and organize code. When I started making games in 2022, I was lost, but now I have a direction to follow.

So, how will rewriting the game work?

It’s simple. I will take everything I’ve done so far and start a new project, bringing the story over and optimizing the code and fixing everything.

By doing this, I will have much more control over my own code and will finally be able to add mechanics that the current code doesn’t allow, like the two most requested features from you: a wardrobe system, a system to change the character's clothes, and a pregnancy system.

These are just two examples of what will be possible when I rewrite the code. Since the artwork and story are already done, I’ll basically be starting the game at 50%.

I also want to rework the old art. For example, you can notice that my art style changes throughout the game since I was evolving as I worked on the project.

As for how long this will take? Well, I can’t say for sure how long it will take to finish, since after all, I’ll be rewriting a project that I’ve been working on for 2 years. But I can speculate that it will take about 1/3 months just to rewrite the code and redraw the "bad" scenes.

And that’s what I have to say about Corruption Time.

Now, what will happen while I’m working on Corruption Time?

I’ll be working on an update for Dexter’s Plans and on a new project I’m working on: Halloween Tower (I haven’t decided on the final name yet). It will be a game that I plan to release on Halloween, where the protagonist will be Peacheass.

So here’s the work order:

• I’ll work a little every day on rewriting the code for Corruption Time. 

• I’ll work on Halloween Tower* every day until it’s finished.

• And I’ll work on Dexter’s Plans* until the next update is released.

As soon as I finish Halloween Tower, I’ll dedicate more time to Corruption Time. And once the update for Dexter’s Plans is done, I’ll focus 100% on Corruption Time.

And don’t worry—the content and art won’t stop for supporters. I’ll always keep you updated on everything I’m doing and will always give you spoilers.

Finally, I want to apologize for the downgrade that the updates have always had. I feel like I’m not giving my best for you, and speaking from the heart now, you all really changed my life. I don’t know what I’d be doing right now if it weren’t for you. I would truly be lost, but you gave me a chance and are here supporting me. I’m eternally grateful to each and every one of you.

Even if you’re not helping with money or anything like that, I’m still grateful that you’re here, just dedicating your time to my projects.
