That hair, that smile, those fucking eyes could stop a person dead in their tracks. A lot of your characters are sexy af, Elk, and a lot of different reasons. Force of personality, depth of emotions, loyalty, openness, forgiveness, all of those things are attractive to me. But I think Ellie is the most stunning. Part of it is how I imagine her to be: genuinely kind, distantly (and sometimes not so distantly) sad about her circumstance, but also filled with a zest for living. I can't help but think her a bit airy at times, and then she just blasts you with a steel chair of a sarcastic wit that makes you stumble in your ribbing. The ol' roasting rope-a-dope. Idk. Maybe the color-theory work is doing a lot of lifting here, but she just looks so... I don't know. Timeless? in her beauty? Am I just in a low mood and this resonated with the right chord? Reading this back makes me see how jumbled this is lol. You make really pretty squiggles on the page, and I hope you don't ever lose the drive to share your mind and heart with us.
