A thunderstorm woke me up when I was holding her in my little twin bed in college and I blurted it out. I genuinely meant it, but also hoped she was still asleep. She wasn't. I played it off as sleep talking, but thankfully she felt the same way. We didn't REALLY say it to each other til a few mo the later-and then I fessed up about the night that storm blew through. Thanks for making that memory pop back up. ❤️
