Current situation(lockdown: on phase 2)

My home is Tijuana, which is the city that has the international crossing border to San Ysidro/San Diego (also probably known as the most used AND most dangerous border aside from the North Korea/South Korea border), as you all know, I do all of my shipping through the USPS service since it's the fastest way to send almost everyone their rewards with having less of a risk of losing mail (the Mexican mail service SUCKS)
Anyway, as of last week, the border was close to most people, only residents can cross and ONLY if they have a good reason, and unfortunately shipping gay merchandise and books is not a good enough reason, not to mention I also can't pick up my mail so I don't have supplies to work with either. I will not be able to ship anything until the border opens again.
Normal art updates are not affected, I actually took all of last week to prepare new things to post since I will not be able to add physical items until the border is clear again, but that's going to take a while since Tijuana is only starting phase 2 of the pandemic.
I did get an assistant for my idol comic, which is fine since everything is done digitally, I'm glad at least this way my work will not be affected and I hope the current situation calms down soon so I can work fully again T-T
Printing for ch3 will be on hold too since the print shop I use will be close for the time being, which doesn't really matter since I can't ship the books anyway.
TL;DR pandemic sucks, ch3 print on hold, I can't do physical rewards and I hope everyone is safe

Also if you by any chance need to stop your pledge because of your financial situation PLEASE do so, please do not be obligated to keep pledging if you need to save money for an emergency, I beg you please put your financial situation first and don't worry about gay comics until you're okay again!

2020-03-28 01:54:18 +0000 UTCThank you for caring so much about us. Every day has been difficult for me like seeing how my friends' food service businesses are struggling to survive. I'd like to support them but we're all hurting financially -- it's like being a parent and not having enough money to get that Christmas present your child wanted. Not only that, but my job considers me "essential" so I've been out in public everyday being exposed to recycled air inside my building, touching surfaces that others touched, and so forth. I'm just assuming I'm infected at this point so I'm not putting myself in contact with anyone other than coworkers and I've canceled my weekly dinner visits to my elderly parents' house. I know it all sounds depressing, but it has given me time to reflect -- reflect on what I've taken for granted, what is really necessary, and what I value. Yes, gay comics are something I value but really I value supporting others in the small way I can. Thank you for your support too!
