Hmmm... Anne, you may be very correct. I didn't think about a contract being protection for Gabby. IMO, the toy contract doesn't protect her. Maybe it's time for a new contract, a 'girlfriend' contract? 🤔 or better, a 'mate' contract, which could be broken by either side, or, it could need both parties agreeing to dissolve it, sort of like, I dunno, a marriage contract, but ha ing a BDSM, D/s theme? It's late. I'm tired. My brain has shut down for the night. 🤣 🤣 Goodnight all. ❤️

I agree Larry, it really would take something big for Emma to really to see herself as she is, an uneducated, narcissistic, wannabe Mistress. Though, I do think she saw a blink of the possibility, of Gabby leaving, when she yelled and stormed out on Emma after the nightmare. True, Gabby asked and Emma agreed to punish her, but it might have shook her a tiny bit of sense into her. I dunno, if they will have a breakup or not but it would be fun. Patricia could train Gabby, and Catherine or Kimberly could train Emma in the meantime. True, they might not need a contract, but in any D/S relationship, rules are important. And for Gabby, a contract, even if it's something not too official, might actually be good.

Robmur, it would take a catastrophic event for Emma to see reality and truly change. Right now, her narcissism blinds her. A traumatic breakup with Gabby may be the shock she needs, especially if Gabby does it. I would like for them to break up but then get back together at rhe end of the story, with both being wiser and more mature. I also want them together without a f'n contract. They really do not need one.

I agree with Larry but I do not think Emma will change only the one that realizes they are flawed will accept the advice of a good friend or colleague and change as Emma thinks herself perfect unless someone she truly looks up to and resoectsccsll her to the floor she is not going to change her thoughts might be if you do not like perfection then do not comment on it

This was actually a pretty great point Julia made.

Emma does have a lot to learn. Unfortunately, she has only been taught by Patricia, which, to be honest, has been a soft pitch by Patricia, not the hard training a world class mistress needs. I'm glad Julia called Emma out, especially in front of Gabby. Gabby needs to take her 'love' blinders off and see that Emma is human, she is flawed, just like the rest of us. I believe this would actually help Emma's and Gabby's relationship. You need truth in a relationship. Truth is one of the legs of trust. Without it, the relationship, i.e. trust , is like a two legged stool.

Wow, oh wow! Anne and Wojtek, great observations. 👍🏻 Finally, someone has taken Emma to task, not only pointing out her recklessness, but also her chaos due to it. Julia was spot on. What I loved is that Julia pointed out flaws in Emma. This has to be frustrating for Emma because it was said directly in front of Gabby. I have personally known students with study habits like Emma. They tend to grasp concepts quickly and easily, enough to pass tests and exams with little to no studying. They cram the night before major exams and can then recite information back like a parrot. However, these people rely on short term memory. Ask them a question about the subject a month later and they have no clue and can barely answer if at all. Essays and homework are handled in the same manner. They rush to complete assignments, usually with the help of someone, family, friends, etc. Unfortunately, school systems are set up in a way that makes this possible, and these type of students take full advantage of it. And, they get away with it. The worst part, it inflates their ego. These people tend to end up being in management. Underlings, like Gabby, do the actual work. These 'managers' have a clique of like minded managers and will 'work' to protect their status. Sorry for sounding bitter. I've seen this firsthand and it's pervasive in our society. There are classes and it is real, elites and worker bees. Sound familiar? SimVenus has hit the nail squarely on the head perfectly. 👍🏻 As for people like Gabby they are the underlings, they do the work. They are the ones who really study, who use both short term and long term memory. In the context of this story, they will be the subs, the servants, the slaves. The mistresses are the 'managers'. They rule. They dominate. They are the goddesses to be worshipped and served. As for the Bondage Society, it's really a worker's union. They are looking out for, and protecting, the underlings. Right. (dripping sarcasm here) Did the underlings get a say as to what is in the contract? 🤔 Doubt it. The Society is run by a mistress, a 'manager'. Who is Catherine really protecting? 🤔 Julia seems to be an exception. She understands. She knows how other mistresses are. I don't think she approves either, which is why she has chastised Emma. This may be another reason Patricia has not acknowledged her at this ceremony. Julia is not in her clique of mistresses and is not obeying her 'rules'.. I wonder if Julia and Kimberly could be friends? 🤔

Julia hit the bull's eye with the descriptions especially about Emma, after all Emma wanted as many submissives as possible and with Gabby herself she couldn't handle it anymore either (the scene when Gabby had to remind her that she wanted to go to the toilet because Emma didn't see to it!) It was only under Patricia's pressure if I remember correctly that she focused only on Gabby! Gabby likes the constant routine of the day, which Julia noticed, curious about Julia's remark is about the trouble that an interview for Ms. Out could cause! Julia agreed, but Jade (formerly as Emily) blogged about her bondage experience with Julia, and Emma and Gabby's bondage relationship came out of hiding suddenly, behind a photo in the newspaper! Maybe that's what Julia meant, saying bigger problems won't happen again! That more people will find out is what Gabby fears?

Wojtek

Wow, Julia really does know her stuff. That's a pretty good advice. Now Emma has to decide, whether she actually "loves" Gabby, or just loves dominating her. She either can adopt to Gabby, they come to a common agreement about doing BDSM, and other kinks or finish doing BDSM, and just have a vanilla relationship. Worst case, if Emma can't let BDSM go, they might even have to break up.
