As a fellow artist, each of us has to come to terms with what we are worth as artists in terms of just compensation for our work and creativity. It sounds as if you are seeking your own boundaries for this and finding what works for you. Good. It may not be easy, but hopefully the end result will be just. You're doing a good job. Hugs.

Something is out there for you regarding your land, youtube and anything else and I'm sure it's going to be bright and positive. As for youtube, I follow a bunch of urban explorers and they've said the same with there content the past few months. Not as many views even with ads out the wazoo. Youtube is literally one if the most undermining, bullish platforms I've seen for creators (this is from someone who just consume and supports but does not create). It'll be sad if you have to leave or slow down youtube, but it's completly understandable if they are pushing you out. As for the public hunting, it sounds so interesting. I have a coworker who hunts and when we work together the conversation usually goes to that. We're in Canada, so it's probably different rules and regulations, but just providing for yourself and others in such a basic natural way is so interesting. Please do some updates if you decide to go ahead with it! I wish you, your family and friends happy holidays. I hope your trip goes amazing. I hope Apache is the goodest of boys while your gone. You always tell us to take time for ourselves and relax. It's your time. Take those deep breaths and enjoy your trip!

My main thought is if you have stuff that just starts people getting relaxed on the front end and then go into the more intense triggers after the break it won't be too disruptive. If you do the occasional video like this it could maybe punch through the algorithm and get your channel some attention. I watch all your stuff anyway cuz I have the notification bell on. But this might increase the visibility.

Have an amazing holiday with your family, France is tres jolie, mon ami, you'll love it (well hopefully, can't speak on your behalf,lol) forget about all the other stuff and take some time for yourself. Whenever I'm having a hard time I just tell myself that this too shall pass, hard times don't last forever, as neither do good times, it's the ebb and flow of life, you just have to ride the wave and see where it takes you. X

(Seriously) On the subject of the YouTube situation, ironically I have premium so I never have to worry about ads. But I have been thinking about this. Could you make the occasional video with a mid roll ad strategically placed so it wouldn't harsh the vibe? For instance, could you do 10 to 15 minutes of behind the scenes, showing how you're putting together your costume for the role play and setting your location up, then roll the ad in the middle and then when you come back from the ad you jump right into the ASMR segment where it's uninterrupted. Honestly I really find the set up to be so interesting and have really enjoyed that on Patreon.

You put out too much good energy not to get it back when it’s right for you. I know there’s some stuff maybe going on with the YT algorithms, but I find it really interesting when you talk about it. I’m a data analyst/data engineer and if you ever want some help with looking at the analytics on your videos or digging into analytics that YT doesn’t provide, I’d be down to help. Your trip sounds awesome and can’t wait to hear about it when you’re back. I hope you have an amazing time. I also adjunct teach college geography and am taking a break from working on lectures about mapping and geospatial science to watch this so the ramble on the public land hunting was fun to listen to.
