My Youtube Channel just got Deleted...

Hello my dear fans, I hope you are well.

This morning I woke up to a Youtube email saying my channel had been deleted. The official reason given was that "Graphic sexual content that is meant to be sexually gratifying is not allowed on YouTube."

While disappointing, this was unsurprising.
I knew I was treading a fine line with the kind of content I was posting and I made my best efforts not to draw too much attention to myself.
Some of the things I did were never monetizing any video, censoring certain nsfw words with more generic ones, doing my best to moderate the comment section, making sfw youtube content and more.
Despite all that, I knew this was bound to happen eventually.
Making the kind of content I make is not easy. It's a world with a bad reputation that a lot of platforms don't want to risk getting involved with. 

- The Likely Cause -

For the people reading this that have been following me on Youtube, you may remember the hiatus I recently took.
In the past, I would make two recordings every week, one that would go on both Youtube and Patreon and the other that would only go on Patreon.
However, due to a series of reasons, including the large growth this Patreon page received, I changed my schedule to focus primarily on my patrons, leaving Youtube unattended.
I had a large following there but I was feeling burned out by the extra content I had to make on top of the numerous requests I would get on here.
So, I came up with the idea of releasing to Youtube my Patreon-only files that were over two years old.
I knew this was risky but I had other erotic content on the platform that had been there for years and I had already kept my subscribers waiting for four months.
After releasing just two of these recordings, in March and April respectively, despite the precautions I mentioned above, this happened.

- Going Forward -

My Patreon will remain active for as long as it's allowed to be, as well as my Twitter. Please note that if any of these platforms undergo future policy changes that would make what I do not allowed anymore, I could disappear out of the blue just as easily as Youtube got rid of me and there's nothing I can do about it.

I'm going to appeal to Youtube with the link they provided me and hope they will give me the chance to change what kind of content I post on the channel and allow me to keep it.
If that doesn't work, I could create a new channel and make sure only sfw files are posted to it. Or even worse, trim down my best nsfw ones and put them there as glorified samples, directing people to my Patreon for the full version. Disabling comments is another unpleasant way to avoid attention.
Regardless, all of these ideas would inevitably result in less interest from the Youtube audience and algorithm, as my nsfw content has always been what performed the best.

I used to be active on Reddit in the past and I could resume my efforts there.
I'll continue to be active on other minor platforms too, as I have, but those will always be mainly publicity outlets.

- In conclusion -

This month, on the 18th, was going to mark my four years on Youtube and four years of making content in general. It took me four years to gather those 10,000 subscribers I had. I was thinking of something to celebrate the special occasion but it looks like I'll need to rethink it...
