2023-11-13 14:29:32 +0000 UTCThe joke is referring to the slang term meaning low quality or not legitimate. For example in To Hull and Back, Del calls the fake money "Mickey Mouse Money." King Boomer even mentioned people use it in the US. My whole family uses it. Boycie says it after Trigger says "I wouldn't trust you to make a Jelly," so they are saying he so illegitimate that he doesn't even reach the standards of a bad film maker. If fake money is Mickey Mouse money, then Rodney Trotter money would be fake money drawn using crayons.

I had a Mickey Mouse watch when I was younger, my dad brought it back from a work trip to America. Definitely a joke of it's time though. Important episode for building Boycie's character.
