An Extremely Late Timelapse+Thoughts (and an important note about the Sticker Shop!)

(EDIT 8/10 - Went back to redo a couple poses, but I just wrapped up the coloring stage, so the new comic is probably dropping sometime tomorrow! Woo!)

WELP, time to slap the "Days since I last forgot to post the timelapse" counter down to negative kajillion, cause I just realized I never even posted this one inbetween the Plush Reveal comic and the Collab comic. In my defense, it was a really busy time and uhhhhh ummm uhh hey what's that over there, is that a distraction?

Speaking of the plush reveal, MAN - I was honestly feeling pretty toasted after all the Mona plush-release posts. I don't know why merch reveals are so stressful for me 💀 I guess it's like the BIG REVEAL, y'know? You spend your time tweaking this little plush goober and just hope your 2D design can translate well into a 3D plushie. There's only so much revisions I can submit to Ownaj before I start to feel like a nitpicky jerk, but in the end, I think she turned out pretty nice :) One of the final revisions I sent in ended up delaying the process for an extra 2 weeks though - the way her head was manufactured, the seam just felt a liiittle too high because the actual surface area of the "face" portion was too small:

It's probably kinda hard to see what I'm talking about, and I know it's probably a pretty insignificant detail - but to ME, it was basically a life-or-death thing; that seam was more pronounced than the Tell-Tale Heart 😩 I was gonna be lying awake at night, thinking about that SEAM.

Anyway, I took a few days off after release day to recollect myself, but I just wanted to make a news post to let you all know that I'm alive and doodling! I went back into my "REWORK" folder to look at some older comics I scrapped and I started working on the Milkman comic again. I'd post a sneak peek, but you guys already know what Panel 1 looks like from back before it was scrapped, so I gotta keep the rest of it secret! I'm still tinkering around with the punchline in the last panel, but I THINK I've got one that I'm pretty pleased with :)

As for the Sticker Shop, it looks like Etsy is starting to crack down a little tighter on NSFW stickers - they didn't mind much at the beginning, but with how payment processors are getting stricter, I'm wondering if things are changing? Those three stickers at the top of this post are currently Unlisted on Etsy, which means they're no longer for sale and I probably won't be printing any more of those stickers :(

HOWEVER... if you were to make a purchase of a similar-priced sticker and then request to have that sticker swapped out for a currently-unlisted sticker, that could be arranged 👀

EDIT 8/5: Nevermind, that was fast - all the rest of my NSFW stickers/magnets got delisted today, so swapping out a sticker/magnet purchase now applies to all my NSFW items instead of just the previously-mentioned 3. The only exception is the "Private Mona" sticker, which is sold out.

These products won't be reprinted anymore once sold out (since I can't list them, unfortunately), so if you've been dying to have one, grab one while you can. Here's the process again in condensed-list form:

1. Message me on Etsy to ask if the Unlisted sticker/magnet you want is still in-stock

2. After I confirm it's in stock, buy any sticker/magnet from my store as a placeholder

3. Then, message me afterwards and let me know which placeholder items you want swapped out for the unlisted items instead

There's no guarantee this won't happen to the rest of my NSFW stickers (EDIT: It did), but as long as they're still listed, they're still up for grabs (EDIT: They're not). Once a sticker becomes sold out, I'll remove it from this page to avoid confusing any future Patrons who see this post lol

Phew, alrighty! That was a lot to type, but I hope it makes sense! This growing aversion to NSFW content because of payment processors is so weird. Why the hell do they care what YOU spend YOUR money on?
