"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to a first of its kind event no one in any universe has ever borne witness! Here today, in a special expanded arena of our host Roulette's preeminent casino and fight club, the House, we've gathered for you thirty-eight of the strongest, most beautiful women across not one, but two multiverses! They'll compete in two divisions to see who'll be the top with the best blend of beauty, brains and brawn! I'm Xirena Awhina, alias the Promoter, but you can call me your emcee for the entirety of what we're calling:

Now...let's get things rolling! Thanks to the entry poll you all participated in, we'll be kicking off the Bodybuilder Division to start!"

Backstage...  

K-Starr: "Looks like we're up."

A-Marie: "Any idea how we can break out or somethin'?"

K-Starr: "Not at the moment--some of my powers (and I'm guessing all of ours) have been dulled, and they're broadcasting some sort of subliminal non-aggression wave into all of our minds. For now, we'll just have to roll with it until we can find an opening."

A-Marie: "Didn't think this'd be how our two worlds would end up meetin' again. Not too fond of givin' all them rich varmints a show..."

K-Starr: "Like it or not, we've got to be smart about this. Once the two of us are done, we'll pass it on to the others."

A-Marie [nods]: "Got it. Meantime, fer appearance's sake...may the best woman win."

K-Starr [grins]: "By the way, I've heard about your powers and all that--so how come you're showing a lot more skin than usual?"

A-Marie: "Ah, that--a while back, th' Professor and Ah went on a lil' 'journey to th' center of mah mind' and found out that Ah'd accidentally made a mental block when mah powers first activated. 'Cause of this, they never really developed past their 'nahscent' stage, which is why I spent so long wearin' full-body outfits. But after he helped me tear those blocks down, and with a little more nurturin', Ah've now got full control. Been mighty happy ever since. (As has Remy.)"

 K-Starr [in slight awe]: "Wow. Still, why keep the gloves?"

A-Marie [shrugs]: "Had 'em with me fer so long, I jus' can't picture myself without 'em. 'Sides..." [Emphasizes her outfit.] "A girl's gotta coordinate."

K-Starr: "Whatever works..."

A-Marie [nods again]: "Tits up--our cue's comin'."

Main stage

"Let's bring out our initial two contestants in the Bodybuilder Division! For our first competitor, from what we're calling Multiverse-A, she's what you'd call an ultimate survivor. Not only is she the last of her kind from an alternate version of the planet Krypton, she's one of the last remaining from an entire preceding incarnation of her native multiverse! Yet she's still held strong and firm, finding her way in the world no matter the circumstances. She's bold, brainy, and with assets that have been compared online to a national treasure! You'd almost mistake her for being the older sister of Supergirl, but that'd be doing her a massive disservice! Here she is, the Woman of Steel of Earth-Two--POWER GIRL!"

[Needle-drop: "The Power" by SNAP]

"Let's hear it once more for Power Girl! And with that, time to bring out her opponent from what we've termed Multiverse-B. A longstanding member of the uncanny X-Men, fighting to protect a world that fears and hates them, this mighty mutant's journey from fully-covered shut-in to onetime supervillain to heroically vivacious bruiser with a 'magic' touch is one to behold! She's found ways to keep hold of the human touch, all without physical contact, but has still managed to touch the hearts of her fellow mutants! But be wary--one touch from her, and your powers are hers to command for who knows how long! The jury's still out on how she managed to get all built up for the competition, but we'll leave that for you to decide! Ladies and gentlemen, please give it up for the Southern belle of the X-Men--ROGUE!"
