"Ty! What the hell happened to you? It looks like an army ran over you,” Matt said, seeing my deplorable bruised condition.
"Holly was teaching me how to withstand blows yesterday," I replied.
"And how did it go?" said Matt.
“I think I want to die. If I ever have offspring, I think they will be born with bruises. She really is very strong,” I told him.
"Well, seeing as you'll probably end up dying young, have you given any thought to who you'll leave your comic book collection to?" Matt asked. I was about to say something, but a poster caught my eye. It was of Holly and there were a bunch of horrible insults written all over it. Things like 'bitch, hideous, disgusting' etc. I snatched it down off the wall and balled it up to toss in the trash can. Unfortunately, though, it was just one of many. The whole hallway had been plastered with the same poster, and all of them had even more insults and slurs written on them. "Well, it seems your mistress has some enemies."
I glared at him. I wasn't any kind of threatening, but in the end, he still wound up promising to help figure out who had put the posters up. Meanwhile I was going to check on Holly and make sure she was ok.
When I found her, she was sitting by herself beneath a tree. Nothing new really. I expected her to be angry, but she didn't do anything except shrug as she sat there. "Many things are said about me, and I honestly don’t give a fuck," she said. "You know, it's even fun."
"You really don't care? Not even a little bit?” I asked skeptically and sat down beside her. “Maybe if you were a little less aggressive…” Holly's icy glare made me stop before I finished that sentence.
“I'm going to tell you a little story. Several years ago, there was a poor mutant girl, with horns and green skin. Her family didn’t care about her so she tried to be nice thinking that people would treat her differently if she was attentive and helpful. One day that girl mutated even more, she grew taller, and she got more tits, more arms, and a tail. Despite being friendly, people were not empathetic with her and began to laugh at her. Until one day, the girl exploded and broke the arms of a fool who wanted to be clever with her. The girl knew that she had done something wrong. She got kicked from school because of that, but from that day on, people stopped bothering her. She realized that she did not need anyone's approval and that it was better to defend herself than to hoping the world forget that she was a monster,” she said as she looked to the horizon.
"And do you know what the moral is Ty?", she asked me.
"That being nice sometimes doesn’t make others be less cruel?" I said.
"I was going to say don't bother someone who can break bones with their bare hands... but yours is better," she said as she finished her soda.
"But don't you sometimes feel lonely? Don't you ever want to talk to someone? I know you're strong, very very strong, but don't you feel like sharing a little bit from time to time?” I asked her. She stared at me and then gave me her wicked smile. "That's why I've kept my pet alive," she said and laughed.
"Does it matter to you that they tell you that you are aggressive?"
Holly just shrugged nonchalantly.
"They say you are scary and intimidating."
A small smile played on Holly's lips, as if she enjoyed it.
"They say you're ugly, bland, and disgusting."
Holly blinked a few times and then gave me a scowl. "Well, that is a lie. I'm not sexy just because I'm not interested in being."
"Fine, whatever you say," I said.
Holly quickly turned to me in a defiant way. "Are you mocking me?"
"W-what?! NO, OF COURSE NOT!" I said in a panic. "I never would. Don't kill me!"
"Good!" Holly said, sitting down heavily on the bench and crossing her arms. "Believe me worm, there were a lot of people howling for me on the scene...", Holly did not finish the sentence. She closed her mouth tightly, as if avoiding saying too much.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
“Nothing that concerns you, worm. I've already said too much,” Holly said angrily. Her frown slowly turned to a mischievous smile, and I got the feeling she was up to something.
"Worm, the other day I heard that you were saving for one of those dolls that you nerds collect."
“Well, it's more of a collectible figure. It's from Chize, a videogame heroine..."
"Yes, yes anyway. Well, I want you to take that money and go buy something for me. Give me your phone number, I'll send you a message, so your chicken brain won't forget it."
"Will you really give me your phone number?" I asked, surprised.
“I think it's necessary at this point,” Holly said, “No one else has this number, so if I get a message from one of your little friends, I swear I'll take your phone and shove it where the sun don't shine."
I swallowed hard as Holly wrote her message. My phone vibrated when she finished.
"Roma Store, Ankle Boots, 3-inch heel, size 10, black... YOU WANT ME TO BUY YOU SHOES?!" I exclaimed, surprised.
“Yes, I'll explain why later. Go buy them before the beating… I mean, before today's training session."
"O-ok, but won't it look weird me shopping for girl's shoes?" I asked. I was already starting to get up though.
"Just say they are a present, worm," Holly replied dryly.
"Well, I could say they are for a girlfriend, right?" I said.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA", Holly fell over with laughter. "Worm, if you're going to make up an excuse at least try to make it believable."
That afternoon I arrived at the shed with the shoes. I had not only spent everything I had saved for Chize's figure, but also had a bit of embarrassment at the shoe store.
“I shouldn't have said they were for my girlfriend. They obviously didn't believe me,” I said to myself, a bit sad.
I went to the sector where we trained. When I turned the corner, I found Holly in the middle of the room. My jaw nearly dropped to the ground from shock.
Holly was in the middle of the room, her loose hair falling down her back. She wore a short, tight, sleeveless black dress that highlighted her double cleavage. She wore soft but striking makeup. The only thing she was a bit out of tune was her sneakers.
"You brought the shoes, worm?" she asked the moment she saw me.
I rushed to hand them over and she put them on right away. She took a few steps confidently, then gave a full twirl. She walked to the brightest column in the room and leaned on it in a sensual way.
"Ty, take a picture of me," she ordered.
It was hard to hold the phone still with my hands shaking so much. Especially when she walked towards me deliberately swaying her hips back and forth. But I snapped a flurry of photos hoping I got at least a few good ones for her. When I was done, she snatched the phone out of my hand and sent them all to herself.
"So, worm?" Holly asked, looking down at me. "Do you believe me when I tell you that I can be sexy?"
“I… YES, YES I do believe you. I never really doubted it," I told her as I gathered all my will not to look at her breasts.
"Well, that's what I was hoping to hear," Holly said.
"So, are you going to change your look from now on?" I asked.
"Of course not. I have no interest in being mastu rbation material for nerds and virgins like you and your friends. I just wanted to prove a damn point and I already did,” she said. She dangled my phone in front of me but yanked it away again when I reached for it.
“Oops! I almost forgot to delete my photos. Can't imagine what you'd do with them when you get horny," she said. Her fingers tapped away at my phone, deleting every last photo I just took. Only when they were all gone did she return it to me. "Now get out of here until I call you. Once I change, we'll start our daily beating."
"Ok, but can you give me the shoes back? S-so I can get the money back," I asked shyly.
"Of course not. If I give you back your shoes and you get your money, you'll spend it on that nerdy crap, and you will never get strong. In addition, there's the risk that you're a foot fetishist, so I'll keep them. Consider it part of your training. I needed a pair of heels after the incident in which I lost my other ones anyway."
"Incident? What do you mea-" Her icy glare cut me off again and I shutup. I left the shed without another word. As I sat outside while she changed, I stared at my phone. It was black and she had deleted her photos of course. But damn would I love to have them. Maybe it'd be a good idea to look into some software that helped recover deleted files.
