Release 0.6.1.5

Good morning,
it is now past 1 AM here, but the update is finally in a releasable state!
The last few days have been a real struggle, as some of the bugs were incredibly stubborn. That makes it all the more relieving for me to finally be able to release this!

Time for a short changelog:

• 3 new maps

• New character sprites (more than I want to list here)

• 2 new female characters who are at least introduced

• New scene in the MC’s house
  It is now possible to invite Tia, Bianca, and Lyvia over (also in combinations) — provided the three know each other and know about one another (a visit to the camp with all of them, and possibly attending the party, might be necessary)

• A new quest that starts once you find Marcus’s letter in the basement (it should trigger when you enter Arenfield)

• Alternative path for entering the Old Boar Inn as well as for Carmen’s quest

• Katherine’s bonus scene (from update 0.6.1.1)

• Many smaller adjustments and bug fixes (again, thank you for all the reports!)

I probably forgot to mention a thing or two. If anything else comes to mind, I will add it tomorrow once I’ve had some sleep.

A few things I want to note: during testing I noticed a few things that I’m not happy with in their current state. For example, the lack of a diagonal version of Bjorn’s wagon… I thought I could get away without it, but no — it does not work. It just doesn’t look good, and I’ll have to fix it, even though it will be a ton of work.
And then there’s the new scene in the MC’s house… I already mentioned on Discord that I overestimated myself by trying to make everything possible at once (letting all three women be invited) I should have made 3 scenes only with just 1 woman at a time and then expanded that in 0.6.2.0... but I didn't and I will learn from this. Because currently the scene feels incomplete to me, and I definitely want to fix that! You can expect me to expand the scene for the full 0.6.2.0 update and add more transitions and positions and dialogue.

I also experimented with a few new things in this update, as you will probably notice. Without experimenting and trying new approaches, you stop progressing — and that’s something I absolutely don’t want. This update was very demanding for me in terms of complexity, which makes me all the more relieved that it is now mostly finished.
Now the enjoyable part can finally begin — the story writing.

But time has moved on faster than I would have liked, and I really want to release a small Christmas update this year.
As already mentioned on Discord, it cannot be as complex as last year’s update, because I definitely want to finish it before Christmas. I will think about something over the next few days, something manageable, and as always, I’ll let you choose what will be implemented.

For now, however, it is time to fall into bed… I am completely exhausted from the last few days.
I don’t think I’ll be working much tomorrow either, since I need to recover from the long week (there was no weekend after all).
I’ll handle bug fixes as soon as possible, and yes — there are still several reports I haven’t gotten to yet.
