そのあとで、岸田さんから『玲音は父親を恐れていて、父と話す時はくまの衣装を着て、自分をキャラクター化する事で、恐怖から自分を守っているのだ』という説明を聞いて、なるほどと思い、同時にキャラクターのデザインというのはそのように考えていくのだと勉強になりました。

当時はまだ学生で、生まれて初めてのキャラクターデザインの仕事で、何もかもが手探りでした。
