It is said to be the world's most smelly plant, but the smell only comes out for one day, and it was already over.
There was a jar with gauze containing the stinky ingredient, and I could see it in writing, but the ingredient was already gone and I could only smell a faint, strange odor.
I feel both disappointed and relieved. ......
ショクダイオオコンニャクの花が、約10年ぶりに咲くということで、6月5日に神代植物公園に行ってきました。世界一臭い植物、らしいのですが、においが出る時期は1日だけで、もう終わってしまっていました。
一応、臭い成分を含ませたガーゼの入った瓶が置かれていて、書いで見ることはできるのですが、もう成分が飛んでしまっていて、かすかに変なにおいがするだけでした。
残念なような、ホッとしたような……。
