Yes, I thought of it as the "fire" around her when everything gets uncovered and she realizes that the oath she swore, like the medical commitment, was after all under controll of Umbrella (that's why she's "bound" to the staff also in a negative way) & Wesker who recruited her.

2023-08-23 19:04:23 +0000 UTCi always loved the symbolic of the rod of aesculapius and the meaning for Rebecca, her background. it looks like with all this sparks that there is a fire which could mean with the her being tempted by the devilish Wesker that this is the fire burning for the sin....or since fire can be a symbol of passion too that these are flames of lust maybe consuming her. But no matter which kind of fire it is the rod seems to be fulfill it's mythical Job and protecting Rebecca from harm. And Rebecca embraces the rod to be protected as it seems. or maybe something completely different and rebecca embracing the rod could stand for her promise as a medic to protect and to heal and the sparks of fire the dangers on her way which hear promise made her surviving and kept her up all the time

The caduceus goes well with the tattoos on your arms and hip, it gives the impression that something is spreading out of the staff and into Rebecca's body. Sorry for the long comment but when I see a new post I get excited 😅. Keep up the amazing work Midnight and I look forward to seeing more artsy Rebecca photos in the future 🥰.
