MCU- CH-249. Chaos in New York

The purpose of the space shuttle was to enable a select few to accompany the team when traveling to a new universe.

However, when faced with the temptation of fresh meat, none of the participants took the purpose seriously. Their behavior was abhorrent—worse than that of animals.

In Pym's eyes, the moment the space shuttle mechanism was successfully developed, these individuals had outlived their usefulness. Taking them to a new universe was never part of his plan. After all, fewer mouths to feed meant more resources for himself. A simple calculation.

Even if new problems arose in the new universe, replacements could always be found. It was just a matter of repeating the process.

"What's going on? Could the person who sent the signal be dead?"

"What a shame. I thought we could establish a connection with another universe." Reed Richards muttered in disappointment.

Before anyone could respond, the skies above New York abruptly shifted.

At S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, stationed 10,000 meters above ground using advanced anti-gravity technology, Nick Fury was in the middle of a meeting with Tony Stark and Dr. Banner.

Suddenly, an overwhelming interference signal disrupted every system at S.H.I.E.L.D. The headquarters trembled violently.

[Warning! Warning! An unknown magnetic field is disrupting system functionality. Immediate action required!]

"What's happening?" Nick Fury demanded, attempting to communicate with the control center via his earpiece. All he got in return was a crackling static sound.

Hill quickly took charge, ordering agents to manually switch the control systems.

A dazzling white light burst over New York. From within the light, eight terrifying figures emerged, exuding a monstrous bloodthirst.

"Meat! So much meat!"

The Sentry, his golden uniform in tatters, plummeted from the sky with violent force. Landing in the city's center, he grabbed a terrified man, who froze in fear, and brought him to his mouth. The sickening sound of flesh being torn and chewed followed.

Quicksilver darted through the chaos, his silver blur streaking across the streets as he grabbed victims and devoured them.

Ant-Man enlarged himself, scooping up dozens of people at once and stuffing them into his maw.

The sudden descent into horror turned the once-bustling city into pandemonium.

"My God, this can't be real! Are we in a movie?" Someone cried.

"No, it's the apocalypse!" Another screamed.

Namor, the King of the Sea, raised his trident high and slammed it into the ground. A torrent of water erupted, forming an enormous prison that trapped fleeing citizens.

Spider-Man was the first hero to sense the disaster. His spider-sense went into overdrive while he was patrolling Queens. Without hesitation, he left a captured robber webbed to a lamppost and swung toward the scene of destruction.

Other heroes also sprang into action.

Meanwhile, Luke, who had remained in the main universe, detected the spatial fluctuations the moment they occurred.

However, instead of intervening directly, he turned his attention to the observer concealed within Ant-Man's body.

Sensing Luke's gaze, the observer emerged from hiding, revealing himself.

"Great deity of the multiverse, I beg you to stop this disaster from spreading. These creatures are a nightmare for all life in the universe!" The observer pleaded.

Luke's expression remained calm, "Aren't observers forbidden from interfering in the natural development of the universe?"

"That is true." The observer admitted, "But I've already witnessed two universes perish at their hands. I can't stand by and let it happen again."

Luke raised an eyebrow, "Then why not get involved yourself?"

Before the observer could respond, Luke's body shifted unnaturally, as though something was forcing its way out.

A moment later, a towering figure stepped out of Luke's body. Bare-chested, with a dark red "S" scar etched into his skin, his face radiated cruelty and arrogance.

This was the Supreme Superman—a manifestation of raw power and brutality. Born on Earth-Origin, he shared a similar backstory to many Kal-Els, but with a twist. On his Earth, superheroes existed only in comics.

Initially, he had dreamed of being a hero, but a series of tragic events turned him into a villain. Defying fate, he declared himself the Supreme Superman, claiming to be the strongest of all.

Now, kneeling before Luke, he bowed his head in reverence, "My lord, Kal-El humbly serves you."

Luke nodded, "See the chaos over there? Go and deal with those monsters. Let the world know the name of Supreme Superman."

Kal-El grinned maliciously, "As you command, my lord. They will know true cruelty."

With a thought, a Superman suit materialized over his body, hiding the scar on his chest.

In a flash, he disappeared, heading straight for the carnage.

The arrival of Supreme Superman marked a turning point in the battle. His violent nature was unmistakable, but his unwavering loyalty to Luke ensured he would carry out his mission without question.

For now, the people of New York could only hope that this terrifying savior was on their side.
