Us good guys will never understand the bad guys who beat women. On the other hand, we can't understand the women who stick with the assholes like glue either. I've worked with a couple of those women, and it drove me nuts.

In the first episode, Peter plays "Iraq Lobster," which is a funny take on an actual song by the B-52s called ROCK LOBSTER. That song is a banger but overstays its welcome because it's like 5 minutes long. Speaking of Songs, listen to GOODBYE EARL. It has the same theme as the first episode. In the second episode, they make a joke about SciFi movies from the 1970s ending with a bummer or somber ending. I don't think they are referencing a particular film, but combining a few together. I'd list those movies, but then they would be spoiled, and you'd know things don't work out for the characters.

Also Lan and her love for Stewie is so great. And Lan laughing out loud at the Mexican food joke in the second episode had me dying laughing. Family Guy has corrupted her 🤣Thank ya Ladies. Great reactions.

I don't know what they where thinking this episode, the whole intervention is about how her abuse is making them feel and not that she is a victim in her relationship. The premise of the episode falls apart when Joe says there is nothing that the police can do, like domestic violence and disturbing the peace laws don't exist. They were really committed to this plot line for whatever reason.

2025-10-12 17:04:57 +0000 UTCQuagmire's speech to his sister is one of the most disgusting things in the history of this show. He blames her for staying in an abusive relationship and says she's below being called a woman. And for some reason they portrayed this as a sweet and heartwarming moment.
