2025-08-22 21:23:31 +0000 UTCI use to work in an escape room, of a kind that I think TiΓͺn could enjoy. You had a short time to solve a series of puzzles. No ghosts, no murderers, no stalkers, just figuring things out to open locks, boxes, drawers, and so on using clues found in the room. I was there to offer hints IF they asked for them. The challenge was to figure out as many puzzles as possible without help before time ran out. The two hardest types of customers to deal with for me as the Game Master were the drunk young adults, and the rowdy kids whose parents let them run wild. Either could/would break things, including me. I sympathize with Yuri, as it was a kid who caused me to fall backwards and hit my head hard enough to see the medics. Fun to watch you ladies as always. At least this movie didn't make anyone cry.

And of course Tien is just unhinged as always π€£ Honestly you can't go wrong with any Arnold movie. They're all pretty good. Also the reason Jesse Ventura sounded familiar is most likely from your Predator reaction. He was one of the actors in it.

2025-08-16 01:47:25 +0000 UTCIn a way, this movie is the original Squid Game. This film is VERY loosely based on a novel by Richard Bachman. You might know Bachman better under his real name: Stephen King. I think you ladies have reacted to several of King's movies. It's been a long time since I've read The Running Man, but if I remember correctly, the novel is super dark and a much more realistic version of this premise. This movie kind of takes the idea and turns it into a fun popcorn movie with a bunch of one-liners. I'm totally cool with that. I do think the remake that comes out later this year will be closer to the book, but Edgar Wright is directing, so I'll tell you how it goes in November. The Munchies actually reacted to 4 of Edgar Wright's movies already, so you can ask them their opinion on those films. There is a movie called ESCAPE ROOM 2019. It will not make Tien want to try an Escape Room, but the original escape room film is called SAW(2004).

Well, in the case of Running Man, I'm glad they were wrong.π It's a great movie and I had forgotten that it had so many fun one-liners. Since you liked the one-liners so much, I hope you also react to Commando (1985). For me, that is the king of one-liner movies from Arnold Schwarzenegger. Okay Angels we had Arnold Schwarzenegger, but I think you're neglecting the other two big action heroes of the 80s and 90s. Sylvester Stallone with Rambo First Blood and John Rambo, Demolition Man for the funny one-liners and Rocky 1-4 less action but more sports drama but they are among his best movies. Bruce Willis with Die Hard 1-4, he plays more of an everyman hero but the one-liners are all the better for it. That was a hilarious reaction, Angels, I love your talk at the end.π
