The True Unsung hero of these movies ~ Is the MUSIC
I refuse to even watch a movie that just has weird ambient noises or jump scare blasts instead of actual music.....
Sound is literally 50% of the experience. Why would anyone that understands movie production, just completely ignore half of what they're constructing???
I'm a musician, so yeah, I'm biased. But that doesn't make me wrong ~

Thanks for watching, I love this movie. The soundtrack was made by a rapper named The RZA (that's why it's so good). There is a song named "Kill Bill" based on this movie, made by a singer named SZA. You would like the music video.
"Once Upon A Time in Hollywood" would be a good movie choice. It's from Tarantino and has Brad Pitt and Leo Decaprio.

This was my first time ever seeing this movie. Always heard how good it was but never got to it. This was a really fun reaction with some funny commentary from you two.
Lan saying "We were in day mode. Now we're in night mode." And Tien saying that the line should be higher since she cut the top of her head lol. And yeah like Lan said, Lucy Liu is a pretty well known actress. For good reason. She's incredible.

I am so happy you have started your Tarantino journey! The anime scene is a cool scene but this was necessary as was the black and white fight scene due to the blood. The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) who gives the movies their ratings would not grant Tarantino a R rating unless he showed less blood. His way around that was the anime and black and white.
Sin City, another must watch, uses the same black and white technique for the same reason.
I loved seeing your faces at the end of the movie when you find out her daughter is alive. Originally, this movie was one long movie but it was cut into 2 movies. It would have been interesting how they transitioned to the 2nd part from this part in the single movie version.
Keep rockin' it Angels!

A 2-part movie packed with so much style, action and blood that shows its inspirations on its sleeves while still being so fresh. I loved hearing the anime talk, appreciating the animation, missing Naruto and of course learning some vocab from those Demon Slayer days.
This might be an unrealistic recommendation right now, just another channel I follow is currently finishing the huuge watch of Naruto+Shippuden, but Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a damn near perfect experience at only 60 something episodes. Just thought I'd mention that as anime came up haha.
Will be watching Kill Bill part 2 with the legendary Pai Mei shortly.

Among all the elements of this movie the one that stands out for me is the way it uses super vibrant color and camera shots to make it feel like a comic or really a graphic novel. The mixing in of the anime helps to put that in your head so you'll know it when you see it.

Great reaction. I am reminded of a couple of Japanese movies I haven't seen in a while. I would like to suggest Battle Royale and 13 Assassins.

That was such an awesome reaction, so many great one-liners from both of you, you Angels are hilarious.😅💜
This movie was such a huge sensation back then. Everyone was talking about it, and the question always came up, "Have you seen Kill Bill yet?"
With this movie, Quentin Tarantino wanted to pay homage to his love for classic Asian movies from the 70s and 80s.
The yellow tracksuit that The Bride wears at the end is a homage to the legendary Bruce Lee. In one of his best movies, Game of Death, he wore a yellow jumpsuit with the same colors and pattern.
Since you mentioned John Wick, I feel compelled to mention that there are still three (very good) John Wick movies that you haven't reacted to yet. Maybe it's time to finally catch up.😉

The reason they changed to an anime and the House of Blue Leaves scene was in black and white is because the of the rating system in the US. The movie had so much blood it was going to be rated NC17 which means it wouldn't be shown in theaters. But with those changes they allowed to be R which means it could be in theaters.
