You may have noticed that I always include my D&D art assets in my art dumps at the end of the month. The custom tokens I have been using were designed to mesh with another artist's style; and I figured if I was going to take that much time making tokens for my own games I should at least work on my own style so I can include them in art packs or something: that's what this new paper doll style is for.
I'm kinda shooting for a paper doll / bravely default Square Enix sort of visual style with the figures. Something where I can show the outfits but still keep the visual simple and cartoonish.
Because my games lean hard into body horror I need to keep my visuals light so I don't traumatize my players.
Anyways: the first set I am putting together is kind of a general fantasy set. Still have some basic outfits to work out for variety before I put the whole thing together. maybe add some fantasy race features in, etc.
