2019 Update

Thank you all for supporting CustomsForge, it means the world that I can bring the community together so we can all learn and play our favorite songs.
Recently I've been a victim of a car accident and I've been recovering slowly. With this, I have been able to sit down and devote way more time to CF. 

While I have been home recovering I have been hard at work getting the best team of individuals together to develop and upgrade CustomsForge.

Ignition4 Development:
The current status is we're getting nearly done with the front-end template.
Starting this Saturday the back-end will begin development. Our goal is to get the front-end and back-end rewritten and updated to the current Ignition. After that our goal is to migrate the data from the old ignition, to the new ignition. At the same time we will be upgrading the forums to IP Board 4.4. We would still need to theme the forums, etc after the upgrade so it may be a bit of an eye sore since most of the users default to the black theme. There will definitely be bumps but my end goal is to have ignition ready to add features anytime we want, and the forums to be the latest version as we're 3+ versions behind. We're unable to upgrade the forums until Ignition is upgraded. Additionally, Ignition will be separated from the forums.

I've attached some screenshots that shows some of the template work. Please note this is very alpha stage and we will be upgrading certain parts, especially the new record page. 

We want to rewrite ignition from scratch due to the old code is not maintainable.

CustomsForge Song Manager:
Our next thing is we are working hard on making CFSM the best manager for DLC & CDLC for Rocksmith. Repair your CDLC, find duplicates, create playlists and more. We've recently changed the way we are working on our builds. For now on there is no longer a beta build. We've moved over to a main release build that we will regularly update. We highly recommend ALL users to use this. You can even mass-repair all of your CDLC to add DD so you enable features like riff repeater and fix problematic CDLC. TwitchBot
I'm proud to announce that we will be using rsplaylist.com as CustomsForge's main twitch bot. We plan to have direct support for it and to provide full API access to the bot's creator when we launch the new ignition.

In 2019 I hope we can finally launch our dream of CustomsForge 2.0. It has been a lot of work since all of this is done on volunteer time. Please have a wonderful New Year and thanks for supporting CustomsForge. <3
