Maybe you thought that I meant voice messages, as if when you left a voice message after someone didn't pick up the phone? I guess that's mostly an American thing..?π π That's not what I meant) I meant recording voice messages on Telegram/Insta/WhatsApp, etc...(Telegram is better)π , cause usually it's way quicker than texting) You don't do that too?

If you put a book behind each ear and fan it out, you will hear closer to what others hear. Interestingly Alan made a comment once, he said the voice he hears on screen isn't the voice he hears when he speaks. In my head my voice sounds deeper. Nothing like the audio. But that's a good thing. It helps me by not recording over and over because I'm judging myself. She sounds like someone else to me. I really don't associate myself with it.

Janette, it's really nice and warmβ€οΈ Tell me who doesn't like your voice, I'm gonna punish themπ±πΏlolπ When I first started singing and wasn't working with a voice coach yet, I was convinced that microphones, phones, and cameras were spoiling my voice.π€£ (I liked how it sounded in my head, but I didn't even want to listen to the recordings and didn't want others to listenπ€£). I would literally say, 'No, don't listen to this, that's not how I sound! This camera just spoiled everything,' lol. π€£(I was like 14 y.o) Of course, when I began studying singing with my teacher, I realized that cameras and mics weren't the problemπ€£. I started recording myself as often as I could, especially on stage and listened to the recordings many, many times. So yeah, I guess after a while you'll get used to it and won't hear much difference. β€οΈ

2024-09-16 13:34:42 +0000 UTCI don't sound like that in my head. I always thought I had an awful voice. I don't recognize it in the audios. It's easy for me to detach that way. My feelings aren't hurt by everyone's comments. I have a feeling no matter what voice I use someone is going to hate it for the sheer fact it isn't there's. I tried ai voices but I can't get the emotions I want out if it. I accidently created a magical voice with Alan and I haven't been able to replicate it. So I have to use a real voice to match his, at least for the lead character. I tried messing with the pitch and I either sound like a man or a little girl. There is something about my voice that doesn't allow different tones. I tried to use an ai voice over where it turns my voice into another voice but it isn't consistent. Each sentence is slightly off tone from the previous. I don't make a lot of audios with my voice so I haven't invested a lot if time to solve the problem.

I recognize there is something to it but I'm not interested enough to learn about it fully, because it would be a massive undertaking. The energies of the moon and planetary alignments strongly affect me physically and emotionally, which is why I make mention of them sometimes.

2024-09-15 05:08:10 +0000 UTCAt the same time it's my least favorite to write because it's so restrictive and forces me to use sound effects to tell a story, which doesn't capture the experience and takes me days longer. I constantly have people asking me where he was kissing, what positions you were in, and what your lines were and yet they don't want a female voice or story narration. It's very frustrating. But I have realized over time that what I love the most is the majority's least favorite. π€£I must give the audience what they want and sneak my stories in where I can.
