January Update

Hey Gang, it's time for our January update post.

And guess what, the about us section has been updated, weren’t we supposed to do that in december?

This is the first time we’ve done some house cleaning on patreon. Now if you look over to the Homepage you’ll notice that we have given the whole patreon a fresh coat of paint for the first time since 2019…

It’s only taken us like 3 years…are we old?

Can you guys believe it we’re approaching the 3 year anniversary of the official Otachan Patreon. We gave it our best shot the first time round and admittedly we did some stuff right but also many mistakes along the way too. However we know we never would have had the opportunity to even give it a shot without you guys so from all of us thank you.

So, here’s a TLDR of our new goals moving forwards

More uploads, More frequent updates on episode production and eventually destroying Otachan as she grows too powerful for our control.

About our resolution for 2022…

Ultimately this year for us is about Content and sticking to our schedule is going to be key for us to reach this goal. We really want this to feel like something new and exciting for all you guys that are supporting us!

What's this? A new Challenger has appeared?

Yep, we have finally updated tiers and have added a New Tier with a reward I think you guys will enjoy. We decided to base each of our tiers around the 5 stages of grief, because that’s the best way to describe working with Otachan for 3 years…

$15 Tier, we’ve dusted off the Vtuber rig

Remember that time that Otachan got stranded in a void and became a Vtuber? Yeah us neither. Well she’s escaped and we thought why not do that again. She wasn't too thrilled but we wanted to give everyone a new fun incentive and have it exclusively live for everyone in the tier so it will be a more tight knit experience for you guys participating. We wanted this to be a fun little bonus show every month, in which Otachan can interact with you guys on a smaller scale, discuss the episode production, play games and just generally be terrible. It will take place in a private discord server that you guys at that level will have access to.

We made a video every month and currently… WHY DID WE SAY THAT!? We intend to stick to it with the first video of the year being released late January!
