Episode 5 Release Date and Production Update!

Release Date!

Hello!

We’re happy to announce that Episode 5 will be releasing on 28/08/2021.

Production update.

This has single handedly been the biggest episode we have worked on thus far and we are really happy with how it has all come together.

It seems that with the passing of each episode, we as a collective bunch of animators learn something new every time.

It has been a bit of a stretch... I mean 5 months...yeah sorry for that o(TヘTo)

BUT we hope the time we took reflects in the end result of what you guys are going to see!

New Developments.

Now that we have concluded the first season, we have some exciting new developments to share with you all.

Season 2 production has begun!

You may have noticed, the past two episodes have focused on telling a more plot driven story, we feel that we are confident enough now with our staff to pursue a more coherent, story driven narrative throughout the second season. We have begun production and writing for this season so please keep an eye out for updates to follow!

Welcome Team Grain!

During our production time on Episode 5 we have been lucky enough to collaborate with a finishing company based in Japan. Team Grain has worked extremely hard on both inbetweens and coloring for Episode 5 and working alongside such an experienced team will hopefully allow us to increase the quality of episodes even further when moving into our second season.

Kuso Douga is back on!

In the meantime the staff has twisted my arm enough to start production back up on a new episode of Kuso Douga! After reviewing the first episode it was a really fun project for everyone involved to work on, so work will be starting imminently! We will be giving it a bit of a visual overhaul during production so expect some updates and character sheets to follow! We hope this will keep you guys entertained whilst we work on the production of the second season.
