SDCC Updates + Vision Pro App
Added 2025-08-09 16:53:02 +0000 UTCGetting really excited about the upcoming San Diego Comic Con release. 1 hour 50 mins of final footage , 30 hours spent filming across three days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday).
The cosplays, the celebrities, the atmosphere. You are going to experience it all in this epic release. Original target was the 15th, but realistically with how massive this experience is I expect it to be 17th/18th for release date.
The Vision Pro app is almost complete! I am having to render experiences again to prepare for streaming so it’s taking more time. It will have streaming and download options in full quality. It will also have voice integration so you can enjoy the experiences with others. I plan to release a streaming option for Meta Quest and PCVR in the next couple months also, but it will take longer to get this done. Vision Pro app is expected to release in 3-5 weeks.
Im pushing as hard as I can and there are no days off. Eat (sometimes), sleep (sometimes), workout those are my only breaks - gotta be able to keep carrying 40+ pounds of gear a dozen miles a day ya know lol.

Welcome back! Sorry for these issues, I’ve seen this happen in a couple cases before. I was able to solve it by restarting headset, increasing lighting in the room, and switching to stationary boundary. I believe the system is maxed out as it is playing the video and if it needs to use a little more power to maintain the boundary it gets glitchy. I’m actually in the process of converting all mkv to mp4 for increased compatibility will all players. San Diego for instance is mp4.

2025-08-20 13:12:37 +0000 UTCHey returning patron here :) What Metaquest 3 app is recommended at the moment? My Meta TV app keeps crashing trying to load the Cancun vid (MKV?) while my normal apps like heresphere won't load mkv files at all.
