June & July 2023 - Progress Update & Sketch Dump

So the biggest thing, right near the end of my vacation, I got a call from my Day Job telling me they would not be hiring me back when they said they would in August. this meant that I was now without a primary source of Income. And currently, I have decided to solve that by jumping into the deep end and attempting to go full time as a Freelance Artist.
Now honestly this has been something I have wanted to do for a while now, be self employed and being paid doing things I like (art, game dev and the like), but had put off due to the fears of the unstable income associated with it, and hoping to grow my Patreon to be a point where there was a more stable transition. Obviously, that's a little besides the point now, but again I want to say thank you so so so much to everyone even giving me a single dollar for my silly art, it really does help.
Doubly so, as my first month as a full time Free Lance artist is done, and I actually made a profit this month! not by much, after rent utilities and all the other stuff i only made $37 but still, the fact that I am not in the red at all making art for a living is really amazing! Now I get to move onto the fear that this month is an outlier and its all downhill for august onward. Hopefully the future will prove me wrong though!
As for all my various projects, currently I am in an obviously transitory state, figuring things out. Art Commissions, being my new primary source of income are obvious now my new #1 priority. I just hit Affiliate on Twitch, so that too can make some side income, though currently I am still mostly treating that as a fun side thing than some all in thing I do. MBaW! development will unfortunately continue to be on hold for another month or 2 while I continue to stabilize this whole "working artist" thing. and Hypnagogia, I will still make pages while in between coms as I have been, and prolly start promoting it on my Patreon and promoting my patreon there too in the coming months as it turns 1 year old in August, and in general promoting the other big art thing I do as a Hashtag Professional Artist might be a bit of a good thing. IDK.
Despite what It might look like, I'm just one cat-boy who doesn't really know what I am doing. and here is to the rest of 2023!
