September 2022 - Progress Update and Sketch Dump

September was surprisingly packed, feeling very slow but in a good way for the most part.
Hypnagogia is continuing at a very steady pace, 180 pages at time of writing, with 69 likes on MSPFA (nice). we'll see how much this pace continues into october. I am really glad I started this webcomic. not only is it a story idea i've had kicking around in my head since 2014 or so, but the quick turnaround time from making the art and posting it plus the quick and involved feedback from people making suggestions/commands is very motivating. If you haven't already, i do recommend checking the comic out.
the downside of the webcomic being its currently taking up all my creative time and energy, leaving very little for My Boyfriend's a Werecat! I am still very invested in the story and do want to finish the Visual Novel, (if not just because of how much of it is already done XP) but i think its obvious its going to be on the back burner for the time being. I feel very bad admitting that because it is what i started the patreon promoting, and i do still want to make it, but i think it's going to be some time before any real progress on it gets made i fear.
The streaming schedule mostly helped. i hit 3 out of the 4 streams i scheduled, and the 1 i missed was only because my day job got in the way, and i supplemented it with another game stream that night.
I like doing the game stream, but i know Pictaro isn't really a game streaming platform, and most of you don't seem to be able to make those streams due to time issues. So, i might move my streaming over to Twitch, at least for gaming. that way they can be saved for after viewing. (I might make twitch stream Jetyl Plays, as a funny joke that only i find funny, idk)
As for now, the Monthly Art Stream is still on, and I do like the idea of a weekly art/work stream even if it isn't a dedicated suggestion sketch stream, so here is the tentative October Schedule:
- Sketch Suggestion Stream: October 6th Noon-4pm PST
- Hang out Art Steam 1: October 15th Noon-4pm PST
- Jetyl/Hydez Plays: Silent Hill 3 (1/2) October 15th 8pm-midnight PST
- Hang out Art Steam 2: October 22nd Noon-4pm PST
- Jetyl/Hydez Plays: Silent Hill 3 (2/2) October 31st 8pm-midnight PST
the Art streams this month with still 100% be on Pictaro, and I'll try getting a Twitch set up for the game streams, and likely post the recording on youtube afterwards or something. idk, we'll figure it out as we go XP
