July 2022 - Progress Update and Sketch Dump

Heyyo Everybuddy!

July is finally over (and with it this unbearable heat hopefully)

I've had my ups and downs with productivity this month.

to start with the obvious, basically no work happened on MBaW! this month. I could say I'm burnt out on it, but that's not true at all, I still have both a ton of passion for this story and these characters, its just the step i am currently on (editing episode one's content to fit the new engine/make sure it all still works properly) is so tedious it is incredibly difficult to get myself to actually sit down and work on it.

Luckily, I have a solution for that, which also co insides with another thing I've been wanting to do. on August 6th, I will be streaming from 12-4pm PST of me just working on the MBaW! editing process. No clue how entertaining that might be, but having a set date and time to work, and having people theoretically counting on me to actually do it, should be enough motivation to get past my brains dump neurosis.

If that stream goes well, I will probably try to stream roughly once a week, working on MBaW!, or commission art, or whatever is on my plate at the time.

and of course there is also my monthly sketch stream. if the weekly stream thing kicks off, I might just make one of those the sketch stream of the month, but for august at least, its still a separate thing. that'll be on August 2nd, Noon PST over at the usual place here. want to try for only going 4ish hours, but we'll see how things go.

and lastly, for the month of August, I got a little surprise coming out...
