Heyyo Everybuddy!
October was a very productive month for myself. lots a stuff done. To start with, Scene 10a of MBaW! is finally done being edited. Once it was done, i looked into comparing scene length, and Scene 10a might have been the longest individual scene in the game X/
Average scene length for MBaW seems to be ~300 lines of writing + code. Scene 10a was a few lines short of 1 thousand! 0_O
So yeah, no wonder that took so long. scene 10b unedited currently only comes in to just under 600 lines, so already one of the longer scenes, but still almost half as short as the A side version. Speaking of that scene, the current plan going forward for 2021 is to focus on finishing all the set 3 scenes editing, not counting the cat ends, so thats scenes 10-12, A's and B's, then start working on the cat ends 3-6 in 2022.
as for the 2 mystery projects i mentioned last month. i got 1 of em to a far enough point i could table it easily for the time being and return to it later. unfortunately that one is still not far enough to show anything for, of course. X<
as for the other, while i did hit a snag on one part at the very end of the month meaning its not quite done, i do think i can actually mention what that one is. and well, I am making a video essay with a friend of mine. more so its a funny little video project talking about a game franchise i like, and a game in that franchise i... don't, and i think it will be really fun.
making a video essay was one of the 4 new years resolutions i set for myself last year, and its currently the only one i haven't actually done yet, so i am trying to get it done too. Hopefully we'll have it edited completely and done with before the year is over, but this is a very new thing and out of my usual wheelhouse, so idk. I'll see ya there when i see ya i guess.
and speaking of old new years resolutions, one of those, the monthly livestream, is of course still on! for November's Live stream it will be on November 7th at 12:30 pm PST over on Pictaro, here
see you then! ;3
