wow, July both went by real fast, and somehow lasted forever. MBaW! has had some QoL updates put in and down the pipeline. The menu's for the gallery and scene map has been overhauled to be a bit more intuitive and look nicer to boot. the bugs and such surrounding the backgrounds is currently in the works. we also figured out why despite Zasdf working on the music and SFX more it wasn't translating to the builds i was making, so the next build should have less music errors at least. as for content, the preliminary editing and art needed for Scene 10 has started, so that's something.
in non-game development news, art commissions have been quite crazy this month. I got the biggest commission I've ever gotten so far, the 10 page comic "Gift for a Good Boy". I am also trying out a new system for myself to balance things where i devote 1 day to MBaW!, the next to commissions/general art, then MBaW!, then com/general art, with 1 complete break day after 3 rounds for a full week. that should keep me relatively productive and sane, especially as my day job starts up again.
