June 2021 - Progress Update and Sketch Dump

As mentioned last month, june was a break month for development for MBaW! to focus on a little game jam for another game idea i have, Hypnagogia, which at the end i was going to post it on Itch.io
unfortunately, 2 things game up which threw 2 massive monkey wrenches in that plan. first, was having to move apartments in fairly short notices, which consumed pretty much the entire end of the month. and 2nd was those hi-fidelity walk-cycle animations. I realized near the end of making them, that they were too hi detailed to serve the purposes i wanted of multiple outfits, as well as all the various actions the player controller needed to take, so i would need to completely redo all those animations on a smaller scale for easier animation.

so yeah, thanks to that, the game jam was unfinished, and it is not up. it was not a failure however. my goal with the game was to finally hammer out what i wanted the game to look like and play like, and in that I succeeded. so, now i have the unfinished game jam builds to slowly work on in the background as another task to complete!
but as for the main game, My Boyfriend's a Werecat!, development will pick back up for July. the goal for the month is fixing all those gosh darn bugs in the game, as well as polish up the menus and UI a bit, since that is 90% of the game. and, if those are in fact complete. then work on Set 3 of the game can begin, which consists of scenes 10-13 and Cat Ends 3-6
