Also really loving that you guys are picking up on that this instance of Adolescence Syndrome isn't as clearly "bad" as the other ones we have seen. I think that's one of the cooler things that we see in this season that was not in S1 or the movies. For the record, you guys asked about the Santa thing not coming up quite a few times in this episode and I just wanted to check in and make sure ya'll do know that - as far as we could see from the end of episode 1 - Nodoka/Sakuta didn't notice the Santa Girl behind them. That's why she's not coming up/getting explained (yet). The characters in universe have no reason to talk about her specifically... except maybe Sakuta from his experience in the library.

2026-02-09 01:12:12 +0000 UTC12:50 This part actually annoys me a little bit. It has to be a design mistake, I’m sure. In the light novel the girls saying “What was her name, again?” “I think it was something zukki?” makes perfect sense as two people who probably heard the name once the previous day try to remember it. But here in the anime they are looking at a poster that literally has her full name, “Uzuki Hirokawa” blazoned in large bright-coloured characters right underneath her face!
